What are the benefits of solid shampoo?
The advantages of such a cosmetic are multiple, not only for your scalp, but also for the planet.
✨ Solid shampoo is environmentally friendly
Unlike the plastic bottles of classic shampoos, the packaging used for a solid shampoo is eco-friendly, in paper or cardboard. Also, its manufacture requires much less water. Finally, if you choose organic and natural, you will not leave any harmful traces in nature!
✨ Solid shampoo is gentler on your scalp
No need to mix a whole host of chemicals to make a healthy and effective shampoo bar. Thanks to its natural ingredients, the solid shampoo does not attack your scalp. It protects and nourishes it gently.
✨ Solid shampoo is more economical than a liquid format
A solid shampoo lasts on average twice as long as a liquid shampoo. For example, a solid shampoo of 85 gr allows you to perform 30 to 60 washes. So you don't need to reapply it as often as a regular shampoo to keep your hair clean.
✨ Solid shampoo is very practical
Among the many advantages of solid shampoo, practicality is a must. Like other solid cosmetics, you can carry it everywhere, even in your cabin suitcase , without weight or size limitations. It is also much lighter and less bulky than a liquid shampoo contained in a plastic bottle.
How to use a solid shampoo?
How to wash your hair properly with a solid shampoo? Nothing's easier ! Before you start, you can brush your hair (especially if it's long) to avoid tangles.
👉 Step 1: lather your solid shampoo pebble directly on your well-moistened hair;
👉 Step 2: Gently massage your scalp in circular motions with your fingertips. Start at the top of the head, then go to the sides, behind the ears and on the nape of the neck. Be careful not to rub hard, at the risk of exciting your sebaceous glands!
👉 Step 3: rinse thoroughly. A word of advice: if you're in a warrior mood, opt for cold water to close the cuticles of your hair and give them more shine!
And hop ! Let's go for silky and supple hair that shines with a thousand lights!
How to store your solid shampoo?
Solid soap tends to become pasty and very slippery if left in contact with water for a long time. So when you're done shampooing, be sure to let it dry out. You can put it on a soap dish with small holes that will allow water to drain. Going on a trip? Don't panic, a special transport cover will take care of absorbing humidity and keeping it dry.
At On Behalf, we help you keep your shampoo bar longer . To do this, we have imagined soap dishes made by hand in the Nantes region. How long does a solid shampoo last?
There is no precise answer to this question, because it depends on your frequency of use, the quantity necessary according to the mass and the length of your hair, but also on the number of people who lather it between their hands. The durability of your shampoo also varies according to its conservation. If you let it sit dry after each use, then you can enjoy all of its benefits for longer.
As a general rule, a solid shampoo is equivalent to 1 or 2 bottles of liquid shampoo. In addition, solid shampoos made from natural ingredients are much less aggressive than conventional shampoos that contain sulphates and other dull ingredients. Result: your scalp regreases less quickly and the frequency of your washings is reduced.
