The making
Anne-Marie makes each of the soap dishes by hand. She begins by molding the ceramic in her hand then creates the 3 central cavities which will allow a better flow of water. The soap dishes are then baked at low temperature in the oven for several days. Once cooked and dry, it's time for the finishing touches. Anne-Marie paints every detail by hand ! She then applies the varnish. Gorgeous isn't it?
Anne-Marie's word
I have been a self-taught ceramist for nearly 10 years. I work stoneware and porcelain in modeling and on the plate before decorating them and firing them at high temperature. The cultures and civilizations that I was able to meet during 20 years of expatriation as well as my multicultural origins, are an inexhaustible source of my artistic research. I am delighted today to share my passion and my know-how by collaborating with OnBehalf on a limited series of soap dishes that will highlight a range of chic and quality products.
